PIZZA PURI

 

20 small puri

10 teaspoon’s   pizza sauce

3/4 cup grated mozzarella

1 green chili chopped

1/4 cup bell pepper cubes

1/4 cup onion’s finely chopped

1 small tomato

1 teaspoon chili flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon oregano

 

In a bowl combine bell pepper, green chilies, tomatoes, onions , salt, oregano  and mix well.  set aside. In a baking tray, place the puris and fill the puris with mixed vegetables. Add  a spoonful of  sauce. Sprinkle  cheese and top with chili flakes. Place in the preheated oven or just broil until cheese melts. Remove from the oven and serve spicy, cheesy,  hot mazedar pizza puri. It will surely thrill the taste buds of your family and friends.

 

GRANOLA BARS

GRANOLA BARS

 

2 1/2 cups oats

1/4 cup toasted pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup toasted sunflower seeds

1/4 cup grated coconut

1/2 cup chopped almonds

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

hand full raisins and  dried cranberry’s

 

 

1/4 cup coconut oil

2 tablespoons peanut butter

1/2 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

pinch salt

1/2 cup melted chocolate for drizzling ( optional)

 

 

In a saucepan melt the oil, peanut butter and honey on a low  heat. Once melted turn the heat off, stir in the vanilla extract and salt and set aside.

 

In a large bowl combine oats, chopped nuts, coc seeds and dried fruits. Stir the prepared honey mixture until all the oats mixture’s completely coated. Pour the mixture into the baking tray, lined with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly  pressing with spatula. Bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven to 350 degrees. Remove from the oven and let cool. Cut into bars with sharp knife. Drizzle melted chocolate .

CHOCOLATE PAAN MUKHWAS

 

1 cup melted  milk chocolate

1 paan leaf finely chopped  ( betel leaves)

1 tablespoon gulkand

2 tablespoon’s grated coconut

1 tablespoon sweet shredded sopari

1 tablespoon candy coated fennel seeds

1 tablespoon tutti-frutti

pinch of silver glitter  ( optional) for garnishing

 

Fill the molds with melted chocolate, pour  out the  chocolate from the mold. Refrigerate for 5 minutes. Prepare the filling. Combine all the above ingredients in a bowl. fill the mixture in the chocolate mold and cover the paan masala with remaining melted chocolate. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Unmold the chocolate and sprinkle  silver glitter on top.

OATMEAL KATLU

 

Ingredients

1 cups Oat flour ( Grind the Oats and make flour)

3/4 cups jaggery

4 tablespoons ghee. or as needed. ( clarified butter)

1  table spoon sunth ( dry ginger powder)

1 teaspoon fenugreek powder (methi)

2 tablespoons  gund (crushed)

1/2 cup  grated coconut

1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder

11/2 cup crushed almonds and pistachio’s

1  tabspoon batrisu ( herb powder) optional.

 

Method

In a heavy bottom pan or non stick pan add ghee once ghee is melted add the Oatmeal and stir the mixture on a medium heat until golden brown. When its cooked add the crushed gund and mix well for 30 sec and add all the above ingredients, mix all together for about a minute and turn the heat off. Make sure you don’t have any lumps. Pour in a greased tray and spread the mixture evenly and dab  with spatula. Let it set for about 30 min and cut into desired shape.
